Hello and welcome/bienvenue to École Ladner Elementary School!

My name is Steph Matheson and I am honored to be the Principal this 24/25 school year. I would
like to acknowledge that we are teaching and learning on the traditional territory of the scəw̓ aθən
məsteyəxʷ (Tsawwassen) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) First Nations. Our Vice Principal, Jonathan Wortley and I are looking forward to a great year with our staff, students and families.  We are very excited to be working as a team to ensure that all students and staff are provided with a safe learning and teaching environment.

The staff at École Ladner Elementary is committed to working with families and other partners in the community to support the academic, social, emotional and physical growth of each student.

On behalf of the École Ladner Elementary, Mr. Wortley and I extend a warm welcome to our returning families as well as our incoming new families. Our goal is to support all students in acquiring the skills necessary to be happy and successful in life.  We look forward to a wonderful year together.
