Hello Ladner El families,
On Thursday May 10th, the PAC will be hosting the Annual Spring Carnival at our School. This is one of the main fundraisers for the PAC. We hope to raise $10,000 this year, with all proceeds going back into the school.
The Spring Carnival needs you! The success of our Spring Carnival is due to your commitment to our students and combined with the generous donation of your time. Everyone is welcome! There is something for everyone. High school students, parents, and our Grade 7 students. Our Spring Carnival committee and our students thank you for generosity.
We need your help! Can you help us? Here is a list of the various shifts and areas that we currently need help with. Sign up to Volunteer at the event (1.5 hour time slots available) The schedules are subject to change – we will let you know ahead of time if anything changes.
- Setup Team 3pm – 5pm
- Manage Games – 2 Shifts available 4:45pm to 6:30pm & 6:15pm to 8pm
- Sell Tickets/Concession – 2 Shifts available 4:45pm to 630pm & 6:15pm to 8pm
- Clean Up 8pm – 930m
Volunteer Job Description to run a Game room:
Check in the Staff Room 5 minutes prior to your start time to find your station
Go to Station & ensure game is Set Up / or take over from Volunteer, Read the Game Rules – Check Inventory of Tickets
Award a ticket to the player if they succeed at the game – Tickets can be redeemed for prizes in the Prize Room
Lastly, some important reminders about the event:
On the Day of Event – We are accepting Bake Goods (Cakes & Cookies) for the Cake Walk
What to Donate: Individually wrapped Cakes, Cookies, Cupcakes, Rice Crispy Squares, Brownies & sweets that will be won as prizes during the Cake Walk game. Reminders will go out the week of event.
Come Hungry to the Carnival!! We are happy to announce that will be running the BBQ & Concession during the Spring Carnival. You can purchase your food tickets in advance or at the door.
